This is my favorite game I have played on Series X so far. If you are turned off by the game being turned based you need to give it a chance. The game has the same Gears vibe as the shooters, and the graphics and sounds are absolutely excellent. The game is very technical but easy to pick up and jump in the action right away. I LOVE Gears tactics and have had almost no issues on series x compared to Call of duty and watch dogs that keep crashing. I’m so glad I picked this up.

I liked this game. It's technically sound. The missions are quite challenging and fun. It's a solid game.
It however doesn't have an interesting storyline, and lacks Xcom style game management to mix things up a bit. I eventually found the missions quite repetitive after about 20 hours of play.

These guys nailed how this should be done. Sound, graphics, gameplay, etc. This game rocks! Gears 5 has lulled me to sleep, so I took a chance CAUSE I LOVE GEARS, and was pleasantly surprised. This in my opinion EATS XCOM and any other tactical game of its type (that I've played on consoles ). If they don't build on this and follow up with more of this, they'll be making a terrible mistake.
