What is Amazon Renewed?

Products listed on Amazon Renewed have been inspected and tested by a performance managed supplier, who may be qualified manufacturers or specialised third-party refurbishers. The suppliers must meet strict criteria to be able to sell on Amazon Renewed and meet ongoing performance targets.

What should I expect to receive with my Amazon Renewed purchase?

All Amazon Renewed purchases will come with accessories, where applicable, that may not be original but will be compatible and fully functional. Amazon Renewed products will be packaged in either original packaging or in a new and clean cardboard box.

In what condition can I expect my Amazon Renewed product to be?

The product will be restored to its original factory settings and will be in one of the following cosmetic conditions: Refurbished- Excellent: no signs of cosmetic damage when held 30cm away. Refurbished-Good: Light scratches, barely visible when holding the device 30cm away. Refurbished-Acceptable: Scratches visible when holding the device 30cm away and perceptible to the touch. The products may be packaged in a generic box and come with accessories that may be generic, with exceptions, if any, mentioned on the product detail page. Wireless devices may not come with headphones (unless otherwise stated on the product detail page) and have batteries tested to have at least 80% capacity at the time of sale.

What if I’m not satisfied with the product I receive?

We want you to be delighted with your purchase. Products on Amazon Renewed come with a minimum twelve-month warranty. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights or remedies you may have in respect of faulty items. You will be provided with a replacement or refund within twelve months of receipt if any defects arise with the product during this time. This warranty is in conjunction with Amazon's Return Policy that applies to products sold by Amazon AU, the Amazon Global Store Returns policy that applies to products sold by Amazon US and the A-to-z Guarantee, which applies to products sold by third-party sellers.
