Wolf Girl Kindle Edition
Then I met him. Sawyer Hudson.
The Alpha's son was visiting the Delphi College for Magically Banished Youth and spotted me. He took one look at me, and an hour later, I was being pulled out of school, taken into Wolf City and leaving my parents and everything I knew behind.
It's the Alpha's son's selection year, the year he must pick a mate, and every female aged 18-22 must be in attendance. I've landed myself in the middle of Werewolf Bachelor, and just when I think I've got a handle on things, Sawyer releases my cuffs, unbinds my magic, and sees what I really am.
The problem is, I don't know what this creature is that I transform into. It's not an ordinary werewolf, that's for damn sure.

GET THIS BOOK!! If you love werewolves, magic, drama and angst then GET THIS BOOK!
Demi Calloway has been an outcast all her life, when her parents were banished from Wolf City she grew up in Delphi as the only Wolf Shifter. Being cuffed she never got to meet or be one with her Wolf. After running into the Future Alpha, Demi is invited to return to Wolf City to participate in the Mating Ceremony.
Wow, oh wow, oh wow!!! Firstly I just need to vent over that ending... WTAF!!! No, no, no, I am NOT ok.... nope, nuh uh, not happy... I am broken 😭.
I am giving you a heads up that this review is going to be all over the place, it may not make much sense either, as my emotions and feelings are very raw at the moment. This book just tore my heart out...
Ok so here goes...
Demi has had a rough life, growing up in Delphi, being cuffed and never being able to be free to be herself or Wolf. She has been bullied by other supernatural beings, had an incident that changed her dramatically, and never even been able to experience the run as a Wolf. Demi’s character is exceptional, she has spunk, so much humour, and she is strong and not easily wooed by glitz and glamour. Though she didn’t grow up in Wolf City she is naive to the ways of the Wolves, but that makes her so much more likeable.
Sawyer Hudson’s character is not what you would expect an Alpha Wolf to be. He is sweet, caring, and oh very possessive over what he believes is his. But he is exactly what Demi needs.
I loved the secondary characters as well, Sage and her no filter attitude, Walsh’s loyalty to Sawyer is wonderful. Eugene, Brandan and Quan don’t get much mention so their characters are still very much a mystery.
I was hooked from the very begin of this book, every word and page I devoured like a starving animal. 302 pages went by so quickly, entranced from the beginning to the end. But now I need time to try and heal my heart a little before I read ‘Lost Girl’.
The world building is incredible, and the entire story is just fabulous. I can't wait to see Demi evolve further and where the cliffy leaves her and Sawyer.
Running straight into book 2.
It’s well written with tonnes of detail, emotion and grit. It’s got a well thought out storyline with heaps of twists and suspense that keeps you fully mesmerised.
It’s got great main characters.
Overall a fantastic book!

I also seriously want to go to Wolf City now. Maybe visit some of the others too!
I also find that this is a great reread, and have read it twice now. It was great reading it the second time, I love that it was like reading it for the first time. It was basically like your friend reading a book that you've read and you're constantly thinking 'Ooh it's about to get good!'
Wolf Girl was full of so many twist and turns that I never saw coming, as well as the emotional turmoil of what Demi has gone through. I felt for her so much and couldn’t tell you the amount of time that I cried when something heartbreaking happened!
The friendships formed where so lovely, it was quite a fast paced plot with the main characters falling for one another quickly.
Sawyer is everything, damn really such a great, sweet guy who showed nothing but good and caring intentions towards Demi… well right up until the end when my heart broke more for them both.
I was never bored reading this book, fully enraptured and immersed within its pages, that I was able to finish it in 2 day—which for me, hasn’t happened with a book in a very long time!
The ending was amazing, with a cliffhanger that just makes you instantly want to pick up the next book (which I will be doing, by the way aha).
