Bernie Hofmeier was a halfling and the patriarch of the Hofmeier clan, who all lived together at Hirundum farm. He was married to Petunia and they had three children: Franklin, Cinia and Tangerinka.[1]
Biography[]
In June 1267, after a young boy drowned in one of Hirundum's ponds, Bernie heard the locals say it could have been a kikimore or a drowner, so he posted notices for a witcher. Geralt of Rivia took the contract, accompanied by the bard Dandelion, as despite not paying well, he knew the farmer and wanted to be closer to Thanedd Island.[1]
