MSMEs PERSONALIZE THEIR MONEY RECEIVING QR CODE WITH MOMO’S “CREATE QR WITH AI” FEATURE 📱 MoMo continues to enhance the “Create QR with AI” feature for the Money Receiving QR Code, allowing small business owners, family-run businesses, and individuals doing business both online and offline. Therefore, they can establish their unique brand identity by designing their brand's visual identity from the available collection on MoMo. To use AI to create QR codes, users can select themes, including backgrounds and colors, from MoMo's collection and add personalized information to make the Money Receiving QR Code more informative and convenient for transactions and sales. MOMO IMPLEMENTS DECISION 2345: ENHANCING CUSTOMER SECURITY AND SAFETY IN EVERY TRANSACTION 📲This decision is issued by the State Bank of Vietnam and effective from July 1, 2024, mandates the application of safety and security solutions in online payments over the Internet. MoMo is also collaborating with relevant authorities to research and implement new technologies, aiming to provide users with more options and a seamless, safer experience. Mr. Nguyen Ba Diep, MoMo’s Co-founder shared: "The adoption of biometric authentication will help ensure the safety of online payment activities on banking and e-wallet systems, while protecting customers and reducing fraud risks in online transactions. To ensure a smooth experience, we hope our customers will support and promptly provide and update their biometrics on the MoMo app starting today." How to update biometrics on MoMo: 1️⃣ Log in to MoMo >> "Me" (bottom right corner of the screen) 2️⃣ Click "Update" (below the avatar) >> Take a photo of the front side of your chip-based citizen ID card (CCCD) 3️⃣ Place the chip-based CCCD against the back of your phone (Note: Users should find the NFC position and hold it steady for about 30 seconds to read the data as instructed) 4️⃣ Authenticate your face, review the information, and click "Confirm" to complete the process. MOMO CEO TO STARTUPS: BEGIN WITH “WHY’, BE OBSESSED WITH INITIATIVES AND SET HIGH BAR FOR NEW PRODUCTS These were the insights shared by MoMo CEO Nguyễn Mạnh Tường at the Tech in Asia Saigon Summit 2024, took place HCMC on May 30, 2024. The event, with the theme “Charting Vietnam's Tech Future,” attracted over 700 attendees, featuring 50 companies and 20 speakers. At the event, Nguyễn Mạnh Tường shared his personal experiences on creating market-fit products during MoMo's over-14-year journey: 1️⃣ Always start with the question “Why” when implementing an idea. Mr. Tường explained that the idea of creating MoMo 14 years ago began with asking, “Why create an e-wallet?” and believing that a developed nation needs a cashless economy. He continued to explore “Why is personal financial management so important?” and realized that financial freedom is essential for people to better control their lives. These fundamental “why” questions have driven MoMo to become an ecosystem offering a wide range of financial products and services at reasonable costs for the Vietnamese people. 2️⃣ Be obsessed with your initiatives. Mr. Tường said, “To find solutions for big problems, we need to be obsessed to the point of losing sleep over it. When you wake up the next morning, you’re eager to get to the office, share it with your team, and implement it immediately. When I have a new product idea, I am more excited than ever to see user reactions.” 3️⃣ Set a high bar for new products, aiming to be 5-10 times better than existing ones on the market. Mr. Tường emphasized, “This is not easy, but it is essential when you want to create a product for tens of millions of users.
