Here's how you can acquire practical experience in photography through internships.
It’s all about being brave really. Got an idea? Reach out to people who can help you. Some models will work tfp for instance and it’s good for everyone. Travel around, make it fun, try different things all in the same trip and in no time your portfolio will start to build. Help out start up brands too, don’t be afraid to flex your creativity. And whatever you do, don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be done a certain way, or that you shouldn’t. The whole point is learning yourself what can’t be done and breaking rules to see what happens, that’s often where the magic is.

You’re trying to grow your business network. What are the best tools to use?
Social media, including business networking apps such as linked in are an amazing tool to grow your network. In the fast paced nature of things, people are quick to engage with convenience. You can also easily showcase your work via online platforms, and of course people love to know the person behind the brand. This isn’t to say it replaces the need for face to face interaction, but it certainly enhances things in those settings as people feel they already know you. It can cut out some of the awkwardness people feel on initial contact. Just make sure you’re genuine in both settings 😉
