As seen in the trailer for “Smile 2,” the film follows the story of a massive pop star who finds herself being haunted by people with big smiles on their faces. This doesn’t sound very terrifying, but if you’ve seen the first film, you know that the smiles are utterly creepy and mean something far worse is hunting her. Though the monster is the same, you have to hand it to filmmaker Parker Finn for coming up with a story that is very different from the first film.
