The marketing for “A Quiet Place: Day One” has been very consistent and obvious. There really isn’t much that needs to happen for the film to sell itself to audiences. If you like the “A Quiet Place” franchise, you’re obviously going to be interested. But the new film brings in folks who might not have been excited by the previous films considering this one actually serves as an alien invasion film. All that to say, the marketing is light on dialogue but heavy on invasion action.

With the film arriving in theaters this week, we have the final trailer for “A Quiet Place: Day One.” As mentioned above, the new trailer isn’t going to flip everything you know on its head. The film takes place in a big city as the aliens begin their invasion. Lots of screaming. Lots of panicked running. Lots of monsters. You get the idea. Hell, the synopsis for this film might be the shortest in history – “Experience the day the world went quiet.” You know what you’re getting.

The film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou. ‘Day One’ is written and directed by Michael Sarnoski. The filmmaker broke out in a big way thanks to his 2021 debut feature, “Pig.”

Even with the fairly predictable marketing, it’s definitely effective. ‘Day One’ looks like a lot of fun, mixing alien invasion and the disaster genres will likely make for an exciting film. “A Quiet Place: Day One” is arriving in theaters on June 28. You can watch the new trailer below.
