To become a leading security solutions provider for the digital age, Honeywell announced acquiring Carrier Global Corporation’s (NYSE: CARR) Global Access Solutions business for $4.95 billion. This acquisition encompasses hardware and software solutions, strengthening Honeywell’s focus on three key megatrends: automation, aviation’s future and energy transition, all backed by robust digitalization capabilities.
The acquisition will add three critical brands to Honeywell’s portfolio: LenelS2, Onity, and Supra.
- LenelS2 specializes in commercial and enterprise access solutions with products like OnGuard and NetBox.
- Onity provides electronic locks, including hospitality access, mobile credentials and self-storage access.
- Supra offers cloud-based real estate lockboxes with mobile credentials and access management, optimizing property showing scheduling.
