I'm Mike, from The Mana Pool.

I first learned to play around the release of Ice Age (1995-ish) and was strongly involved with playing casually and at local events until early 2020, when I had to back off for obvious reasons. I got back into playing a little bit in 2022 with a few prereleases and casual meet-ups here and there and I still enjoy keeping up with Magic news and new sets.

As a general rule, my deckbuilding is influenced far more than it should be by what I think would be "interesting/fun/funny" instead of what's probably the better choice of cards. The friend who first taught me how to play had a very strong philosophy of "Not every card is good, but pretty much any card can be made good" and the casual groups I spent the most time playing with over the years were always keen on figuring out how to make effective game plans from odd ideas. It was all immensely fun and it's still a big influence on my approach to the game.

I also tend to design and build strictly from my existing collection. If there's a good card for a deck that I don't have in a list, there's a good chance I don't own any, but please suggest it anyway so that maybe I'll remember to go out and find it.

I was a DCI-certified Rules Advisor under older versions of the Magic Judge program and I still keep up with new mechanics and rules changes. I'm the "rules guy" of my casual play group and I like to hang out in the Rules Q&A area here on Tapped Out. If you notice a mistake in one of my responses, don't be shy about pointing it out because above all else, I want whatever question I'm responding to to be answered correctly!

These effects can all work together, but who decides the order can change depending on the specifics of the situation.

If multiple replacement effects could modify how an event affects an object or player, then the affected player or controller of the affected object (or owner if it has no controller) chooses one to apply first, then checks for any unused replacement effects that could still apply to the modified event, then continues choosing one by one until there's nothing left to apply.

This means in an example where you control all of these and damage is about to be dealt to your opponent or one of their creatures/planeswalkers, they will be the one who gets to decide what order to apply the effects in. If they're thinking things through, they can minimize the impact by choosing to apply Torbran's effect last.

You have the right idea. The total Commander damage dealt to you would be unchanged. The current official text of Simulacrum is just a life gain effect plus a damage dealing effect. It doesn't go back in time and "undo" damage that was dealt to you, as the original printed text implies.

You will only get Magecraft triggers from casting in this example. A "spell" is specifically a spell on the stack. Zethi's ability makes copies of cards in exile, not spells on the stack, so Magecraft abilities won't trigger from that part of Zethi's effect.

It will return to whoever had it before player B.

When a player leaves the game, any control-changing effects that are giving them control of things end, and then if there are still some things they somehow control but don't own (like if they got something onto the battlefield from another player's graveyard) then those things get exiled.

In your example the control-changing effect that is giving player B control of the Wishclaw Talisman will end, so now its controller will be based on the next most recent control-changing effect that it was subject to, if any. This distinction can matter if it's a game with more than 2 players and something has been passed around between more than 2 people, which can definitely happen with the Talisman.

Unfortunately no, it won't work that way. Cloudshredder Sliver doesn't actually have the "Flying" or "Haste" abilities and Lancer Sliver doesn't actually have the "First Strike" ability. They have abilities that can give them those things but those abilities only function while they're on the battlefield and won't do anything while they're in exile. If they're crafted into Wretched Bonemass  Flip they will only contribute their power.

Put another way: regeneration isn't a damage prevention effect that stops damage from being dealt in the first place. Rather, it clears out damage that has already been dealt. Fungus Sliver's ability triggers when damage is dealt, and getting regenerated won't change the fact that damage was dealt to it.

It means the ones that exist on the stack right now. If it was meant to have a longer duration, it would be written to say something like "Until end of turn..." or "For the rest of the game..." with some other changes to give the effect proper rules templating.

I try to avoid marking my own responses when I do this, but in this case it was the only option.
