Want to make it more expensive?

You can have a better mana base with cards like Steam Vents or Scalding Tarn, and maybe off-color fetch lands. There are also more expensive "control" cards like Threads of Disloyalty or Sower of Temptation , to name a few. Also try splashing black for better sac outlets.
