This deck is all about the Circle of Life. You're born, you do what you were born to do, you die...Then later on you're either born again, or you are mutated into something else. Isn't that how it went? Nature is always evolving, always changing, and this deck does exactly that with the creatures doubling as utility kits.

This is a more casual deck, and it is going to show. But that doesn't mean it can't pull weird stunts on folks. This deck is roughly 61% creatures, which is much higher than normal. ETB, Mutate, Leaves the Battlefield are the name of the game with this setup, and Nethroi makes sure you're creatures can keep coming back to trigger their abilities again. And again. And again. Like one big wheel spinning on an axis.

What are we talking about here? We got land fetch, mana ramp, creature tutoring, card draw, sacrifice outlets, reusable graveyard revival not only for yourself, but with your opponents' graveyard as well. Creature kill, life drain, high CMC spell denial...We even mill our own library to have more bodies hit the floor before we begin the cycle anew. All of this on creatures that can be revived and reused.

How does Nethroi work into this? His Mutate ability makes it so we can revive a lot of utility creatures, some high power heavy hitters like Teneb, Mikaeus, or Phantom Nishoba, or a mix as we see fit. There are many creatures that are 0/0 that ETB with +1/+1 counters with great utility, which means they just come back for the ride as a pure bonus while you're mutating up other creatures. And with a deck running as much Mutate as I could get into it, It's not hard to Mutate Nethroi more than once while he's on the battlefield.

Even if he dies a few times, you have the mana ramp, the land ramp, and a powerful enchantment that allow you to get him to mutate multiple times back from the Command Zone. Or retrieve him from the graveyard to your hand to Mutate for less.

It's one huge Circle of Life with this deck, and Nethroi is the Rule of Pride Rock.

Broke the list down into various categories so it is easier to see what each permanent's purpose is to the deck. This should make it a lot easier to see what's going on, why that is there and what could be used for an upgrade in the future.
