Loyal Warhound

Creature — Dog

Vigilance

When this enters the battlefield, if an opponent controls more lands than you, search your library for a basic Plains card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library.

nuperokaso These are outstanding suggestions.

The Ornithopter is really just a free flying dork so its removable.

Board the Weatherlight is mostly there to snag Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or Ensnaring Bridge depending on if I need to tutor for Karma (for the urborg + karma combo).. Or if my opponent is beating me down with creatures

Knight of the White Orchid or Loyal Warhound are great suggestions. I was also thinking about Weathered Wayfarer to do something similar

I also really like Roiling Vortex and its interaction with Personal Sanctuary.. I've never actually seen that card.

I would love to have more prison/lockdown pieces in here somewhere too.

In my notes "possible upcoming changes" that I made last time I looked into updating the list, I kind of noticed a few things in testing which back up what you're suggesting, but I never actually made the changes to the list.

Id love it if you made your own version of this decklist and shared it with me. I think it could be a really fun list to play! Thanks for the suggestions!

Nice! I am very satisfied with your choices. At prerelease, I pulled the Aven Interrupter, Final Showdown, and Claim Jumper and put them in right away trying to guesses what you would have taken out. I replaced the instant Board wipe with Farewell, took out Reprieve for the plot counter, and the Loyal Warhound for the white explosive vegetation. I will more than likely do the same replacements you made based off your explanations.

CrimsonWings3689

Codsworth, Handy Helper

I would run it. It’s got the bottom effect of Forge Anew, which is nice since our commander doesn’t help with the initial equip and only passes the equipment around for free. Codsworth is still Reanimate-able. I like that it ramps out our equipment with the second ability. Codsworth helps synergize with our commander by simultaneously protecting it some and speeding up the game plan of equip+kill.

The question really is what would we take out? Probably take out Loyal Warhound or Thousand Moons Smithy  Flip for it?

Loyal warhound is the second iteration to Knight of the White Orchid which is both played in this deck understandably for ramp, but Codsworth ramps out equipment every time while the warhound may miss if you have the greatest or tie the greatest land count.

I haven’t given Thousand Moons Smithy  Flip a shot yet. Seems like a good alternate win con of going wide and synergizes well with the artifact theme, but has nothing to do with helping our equipments get equipped outside of becoming a land.

Adeline, Resplendent Cathar might be a reasonable addition. she isn't a soldier but gives you extra fodder for you to buff and will hit like a truck. Also Mirror Entity and she will be good friends with the tokens she poops out.

Errand-Rider of Gondor, Resistance Squad, Spirited Companion, Loyal Warhound, Solemn Simulacrum, and Knight of the White Orchid are always reasonable additions. you need cards and mana to play them. they also love to be blinked and revived, which is what white does best.

Cosmic Intervention and Teferi's Protection are the s+ white cards. they go in every deck with white

You should run Skullclamp and Heirloom Blade. and Recruiter of the Guard. It is too good not to.

You have plenty of blink synergy already. Eerie Interlude, Ghostway, Semester's End are things you should strongly consider, the delayed return allows you to dodge wipes, although youll lose your tokens. Teleportation Circle might be reasonable to add. Planar Guide can also be used offensively too. And The Eternal Wanderer is outrageously strong. It does everything.

Cut Arm the Cathars its awful at 3 sorcery speed. Things like Akroma's Will exist and are 100x better. I'd honestly have you revise most of your instants and sorceries. You dont have enough draw to use spot removal like this without putting yourself at a disadvantage.

If you run baird, you should also consider Norn's Annex, Ghostly Prison, and Windborn Muse. as those effects stack, they get much much stronger.

Darien, King of Kjeldor is pretty silly, although he's expensive. with the soul sisters you run, you become very very hard to kill. Conclave Phalanx isn't great in my opinion without some blinking, but if you use something like Nykthos Paragon, its very silly Knight-Captain of Eos also can do a lot to make you invincible.

Flowering of the White Tree is an amazing anthem. probably the best in the game. Spear of Heliod is probably second if you keep mana up, just because it will likely turn offense to other players because of its awful ability.

Moonshaker Cavalry is probably an instant win if you play it

LANDS: This deck might actually be able to run Scorched Ruins.

You might as well add Daru Encampment, Forbidding Watchtower, and Memorial to Glory. Kjeldoran Outpost has synergy but has a major drawback.

I'll look at more low cost stuff later. most of my recommendations are like 5cmc+

Terrashock on Rin and Seri

Hello, fellow cat and dog enjoyer. I noticed that you pretty much stuffed every cat or dog in naya colors in that you could find but not a single changeling. While changelings might not be satisfying since they don't look like a cat or a dog, they provide great value because they actually trigger Rin & Seris ability twice generating two tokens instead of just one. They also benefit from both lord effects. Notable examples of changelings are:

Additionally, you seem to have missed (or purposfully no included?) some rather powerful cats and dogs:

Just a few for you to consider. I have a list of all good (in my opinion) cats and dogs in my Rin & Seri list: Rin and Seri

Now, let's be real: Its not the best tribal. So I wouldn't force cat and dogs as hard as you do and also supplement with normal creatures like Mondrak, Glory Dominus or Bloom Tender .

You also do not seem to have a lot of draw options in your deck. Depending on the pod you are playing in, board wipes might be present and can absolutely wreck your game plan. Draw effects help you recover from this. Sadly, Naya is not the best color combination for drawing cards and most of the good draw effects are really expensive. You can see some suggestions for draw effects in my deck list: Rin and Seri

I would highly recommend proxying if your pod allows it. Be careful with draw effect like Camaraderie or Shamanic Revelation. They look good on paper in a token theme but they are "win more" cards in my opinion. If your board got wiped and you draw into those cards, they will not do a thing to help you recover. A wheel effect like Wheel of Misfortune however, will draw you 7 fresh cards to start again.

Lastly, I would recommend getting some tutors in there. Eladamri's Call, Green Sun's Zenith, Natural Order and the like. The best card in your deck by far is Jetmir, Nexus of Revels. He is basically your secret commander. If you can resolve him with 9 creatures on the board, you can devastate your opponents out of the blue. All the more important to be able to find him if you need him.

That's all for now. Have fun!
