Creature — Archon

Flying, vigilance, trample

As Archon of Valor's Reach enters the battlefield, choose artifact, enchantment, instant, sorcery, or planeswalker.

Players can't cast spells of the chosen type.

Token wise Seance can be interesting in the deck along with Song of the Worldsoul. Also a little surprised at no Ajani planeswalkers. Also might like Soul of Eternity, Serra's Emissary, and Archon of Valor's Reach. Just a couple of thoughts.

Your main deck looks solid. The Sideboard I'd take out Archon of Valor's Reach and Sigarda, Host of Herons with only 20 lands In your deck the odds of you ever playing them are slim to none. I do like Gift of Immortality as a way to combat boardwipes and I've always been a suckered for Rancor

Gidgetimer on Double-Faced Cards Commander

You needed to continue reading to rule 8 on https://mtgcommander.net/index.php/rules/ and consult 712.8a in the comprehensive rules.

"8. Being a commander is not a characteristic [MTG CR109.3], it is a property of the card and tied directly to the physical card. As such, “commander-ness” cannot be copied or overwritten by continuous effects. The card retains it’s commander-ness through any status changes, and is still a commander even when controlled by another player."

712.8a While a double-faced card is outside the game or in a zone other than the battlefield or stack, it has only the characteristics of its front face.

The physical card that is The Prismatic Bridge  Flip is still the same physical card that was Esika, God of the Tree  Flip and was chosen as the commander during deck construction when only the characteristics of the front face were considered. The Gatherer ruling you quoted is in reference to casting Revel in Silence  Flip or Beyeen Veil  Flipat instant speed despite their other sides not being able to be played at instant speed; or playing Tergrid, God of Fright  Flip with a Archon of Valor's Reach out naming artifacts.

Caerwyn on How does Najal interact with …

You cannot. "Activate this ability any time you can cast for a sorcery" is a specific term of art that means "Activate this ability only during your turn and only if the stack is empty." It does not actually look at the timing of when you can physically cast a sorcery (thus it is not influenced by cards like Najal, the Storm Runner or Archon of Valor's Reach)--it only checks whether the stack is empty and if it is your turn.

This would be one of my personal nominations for the worst-written phrase in all of Magic's rules, since it consistently misunderstood as having interactions it simply does not have.

golgarigirl on Akroma Keywords First EDH Deck …

I've built Akroma/ Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh before as well. I think Kamahl is probably the overall more powerful option and ramps/fixes/draws better on a budget, but Rograkh can come in early and hard. I've also seen Akroma + Tana, the Bloodsower to allow access to Red and Green for both Rograkh and Kamahl (and some fun things like Samut, Voice of Dissent).

Focus your early game on ramping and you should be able to fill most of your deck with defenses and do well just off your commanders. Other than ramp spells like Farseek, Cultivate etc and defenses like Akroma's Will, there are tons of creatures out there with many keywords. Budget end-game beater options include Baneslayer Angel, End-Raze Forerunners, and Archon of Valor's Reach.
