Akroma's Memorial

Legendary Artifact

Creatures you control have flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, haste, protection from black, and protection from red. ((Remember the acronym debt.) Creatures you control can't be damaged, enchanted, equipped, blocked or targeted by anything black or red. Anything black or red attached to your creatures immediately falls off.)

DemonDragonJ on Should I Keep Abzan Falconer …

I have a copy of Abzan Falconer in my Atraxa, Praetors' Voice EDH deck, because it is quite awesome to give flying to all of my creatures that have +1/+1 counters on themselves, but since that deck also contains both Akroma's Memorial and Elspeth, Sun's Champion, both of which can also grant flying, I wonder if I should replace that creature with another creature, such as Fertilid, Shapers of Nature, Zameck Guildmage, Steelbane Hydra, or Mindless Automaton, as all of those creatures use +1/+1 counters for various purposes.

What does everyone else say about this matter? Should I keep Abzan Falconer in my Atraxa deck, or replace it, with another creature? I certainly would appreciate your feedback.

Any thoughts for Templar Knight decks?

Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut & Akroma's Memorial pumps them so they can survive another go. (Also, Reconnaissance)

For generic immediate value, there's Bolas's Citadel , Chimil, the Inner Sun, God-Pharaoh's Statue, Mindslaver, The One Ring. Also Thrumming Stone, but it feels kinda winmore to fetch.

Archetype of Imagination is definitely unblockable

I love an old-fashioned, straightforward tribal deck!

I see this is a budget deck, my suggestions may be out of the price range.

I would venture that Mangara the Diplomat is a slow card and could be replaced with Esper Sentinel.

You have some interesting lands in there, some that I will consider for my own lists. I don't get why you would want Bant Panorama, and I find Kabira Crossroads and Idyllic Grange have the potential to slow the early game. I would favor Kor Haven and Eiganjo Castle instead.

That Cloud Key wants to be an Urza's Incubator. Akroma's Memorial could be a nice thematic piece.

Hope this helps!

So next to the milling and destruction themes there also seems to be somewhat of a combo subtheme in this deck with cards like Diregraf Colossus, Gravecrawler, Pili-Pala, Master Transmuter, etc. I'm wondering how effective this is going to be. For instance, by themselves the cards Gravecrawler, Phyrexian Altar and Diregraf Colossus aren't going to do that much for you. You need ALL of them to pull off an infinite zombie (and mana) combo. Is this the only reason why all three are in here? It would make more sense to me if one of the major themes in your deck was zombies. Then each of these cards would synergize well with the remainder of your deck.

For a similar reason, I don't understand what Akroma's Memorial is doing in here. Your deck isn't very creature- and/or token focused. Wouldn't an additional mill-spell or mill-benefit be more effective (or both, like Breach the Multiverse)?

Herald of Secret Streams and Akroma's Memorial should be added to your Wincon category. I also think you need maybe 1 or 2 more ways to give your field evasion to get the win when you can.

In that vein, I think you need more ways to exploit a big field in a single turn with Haste, which also makes your dorks go faster. You have access to Red, but only a couple ways to give Urtet Haste (and both are colorless to boot). Maybe a couple from this list will help: Samut, Tyrant Smasher, Alibou, Ancient Witness, Concordant Crossroads/Mass Hysteria, Hammer of Purphoros/Rhythm of the Wild, Nahiri's Resolve, Uncivil Unrest, and Winged Hive Tyrant.

(By the way, if you want to split it up into categories on TappedOut, do like this:)

# Category 1 Name
1x Card 1 Name (XYZ)
1x Card 2 Name (XYZ)

Great start, I'll keep thinking of more potential adds (Unwinding Clock?)
