Use the filters to find stuff easier, then mark those location on your own map in game... simple stuff.

Map Unlocker[www.nexusmods.com]

I'm in no way responsible if your save file gets bricked by using this mod. Read the instructions carefully and back up your save file before attempting anything!

I used this mod in an early build of the game, before the patches and it was glitching my saving and loading big time.

My suggestion to you is to install it, uncover your map with it, save your game and then immediately delete the mod and verify the integrity of your files.

Trust me, the game runs way smoother without it installed and will prevent a lot of random crashing / save file corruption, so back up your save before attempting anything!

Your save file for Palworld is located in C:\ > Users > [Your Name] > AppData [This folder is hidden so make sure to switch on "view hidden folders" to locate it] > Local > Pal > Saved > SaveGames.

When you're deleting the mod make sure to KEEP the folder Steam > steamapps > common > Palworld > Pal > Content > Paks.

Delete everything else inside the Palworld Steam folder and then verify the integrity of the game files to revert everything back to normal. The exception is that the map on your save file will be completely uncovered! :D

Best Spots to Build Bases
Video provided by: Moxsy

Spot #1 (312, -32) the Mountain Waterfall should be your main, end game, base. Once you get around the whole river running through the center of it thing, it's a nice place to avoid Raids / Pals spawning in randomly. It also has a nice cache of Ore nodes and a very cool waterfall aesthetic when viewed from a distance.

Spot #2 (10, -527) in Autumn Hills is a great mining spot for ore, certainly not the best spot, which is covered in the next section, but decent for an early game base. It's also a lot safer than the Fort Ruins as it's elevated by a cliff side all the way around it.

Spot #5 (-540, -32) the Anubis Statue is very nice as it has a cool grandeur aesthetic. It makes you feel like you're The King of Palworld and has some decent ores to mine... it's just really limited for space.

Spots #3 and #4 are both trash.

Spot #3 (190, -383) the Fort Ruins are easily raided and wild Pals literally spawn inside of your base, which just causes an unnecessary headache. You'll be constantly repairing sections and if they take out a load bearing wall, part of your base is just going to disappear instantly. There are also zero resources around this area, it just has pre-built castle walls around it, which makes it appear to be safe. This spot is a noob trap, why he even listed it is beyond me.

Spot #4 (-361, -301) Snowy Plains is in an extreme winter climate area, so you'll have to constantly mitigate the frost with an electric heater and wear cold armor. It's just an annoyance that can easily be avoided by building your base in a more neutral climate like Spot #1, #2 and #5.

Full Pal Guide to Capture / Breed All 137 Pals
Full Pal Capture Guide

This guide details just about everything about the Pals, where to find them / breed them and the list of their special abilities.

Abridged version of which Pals are a pain in the ass to find:

No. 12b Jolthog Cryst: Located near/inside the Desolate Church which is a quick travel point on your map. It can also be found inside of a cage in a random encampment, I can't remember where it was though. You'll have to breed a No. 010 Pengullet with No. 012 Jolthog if you want to condense multiples and max one out.

No. 23 Killamari: Can be used as a glider but more importantly, can only be found in dungeons at night time, so make sure to time your entry properly, this way you can catch a bunch.

You could also just use the breeding calculator on the spreadsheet[docs.google.com] and use any of the following combinations to breed one:

No. 080b Elphidran Aqua: The only way to obtain this Pal is to Breed No. 80 Elphidran with No. 65 Surfent... there is currently no way to catch this Pal in the wild.

No. 088b Reptyro Cyst: The Ice version of Reptyro, you can find it inside of Dungeons in the upper left area of the Ice Lands or you can just breed No. 088 Reptyro with No. 057 Foxcicle and get the same results.

No. 102b Suzaku Aqua: Again the only way to capture this Pal is through good old fashioned Breeding. Breed No. 101 Jormuntide and No. 102 Suzaku together to make the water variant.

No. 110b Frostallion Noct: The rarest and most elusive Pal in the game, only obtained through breeding No. 110 Frostallion and No. 097 Helzephyr.

Pal Breeding Spreadsheet
Unique Breeding Spreadsheet [docs.google.com]

This spreadsheet basically showcases which combos breed unique Pals but has many other incredible features. Just click the tabs on the bottom to experiment and explore.

Most of the Pals listed are tamable and found in the wild but some are rarer than others, such as Orserk, Shadowbeak, Grizzbolt and Lyleen.

Certain Pals don't show up very often, are only found in a single location and are lumped in to a pool with other rare Pals.

It can be quite frustrating hunting some of them down, so hey, just produce your own by having some Pals get their freak on.

There's also a stats tab[docs.google.com] with a chart that shows which level of skill each Pal is best at, but that will be covered in the next section. You can just shut your brain off and let me give you the answers.

If you would like to use the calculator functions you'll have to save a copy of the page to your own google sheets account, as it's view only. It has a helpful breeding calculator[docs.google.com] that shows you exactly which Pals, when combined, produce another Pal.

Best Production Pals / Main Base Setup
Black Marketeer: Use the IGN Map to locate them and capture one, seriously, it's nice to have a merchant in your base so you don't have to keep leaving to locate one.

No. 003 Chikipi: They produce eggs at the ranch, probably good to have one laying eggs.

No. 014 Vixy: These things basically dig up Pal Spheres when placed in a ranch. Very nice for the early game but taper off near the middle. You could, in theory, max one out at Star Rank 4 and have them start digging up Mega Spheres (because this is their hidden power when you do) but it would be more worthy of your time to create an ingot farm and craft Legendary Spheres instead.

No. 029 Mozzarina: They produce Milk at the ranch, another key ingredient for most recipes.

No. 050 Beegarde: They produce Honey at the ranch, again, key ingredient for recipes. Despite what you may think, No. 051 Elizabee DOES NOT produce Honey, just like in real life, she's the Queen, the bee-otch don't work.

No. 048 Robinquill: Jack of all trades master of none. Great at just about anything, gathering, lumbering, producing medicine, transporting, planting, but most importantly handiwork. I would place at least 2 of them in your base until you get some Anubis upgrades.

No. 075 Katress: They work through the night and sleep all day, basically night shift workers. They have level 2 handiwork and they're the only Pal that works on crafting during the night with this level of handiwork, so it's worth having a couple around.

Even though this guy lists the best possible Pals to have for each specific task in the video, some of them just aren't viable with bases that are built vertically. Some of the Pals are so gigantic that they have pathing issues and get suck on ceilings or wedged between objects in your base.

Here's my take on which Pals to use for each specific task at the base:

Kindling:

No. 074 Ragnahawk [The best alternative for when Blazamut gets tired]
No. 096 Blazamut [The best option but take up space indoors]

Planting

No. 087 Petallia [Smaller than Lyleen but also slightly weaker]
No. 104 Lyleen [The best choice]

Handiwork

No. 075 Katress [Works at Night]
No. 076 Wixen [Level 4 maxed, has level 3 Kindling when maxed]
No. 077 Verdash [Great choice, also has level 4 Lumbering, when maxed]
No. 100 Anubis [The best hands down for Handiwork and can also have level 4 Mining]

Lumbering

As of this time the highest level achievable in Lumbering is 4 with the following Pals maxed at 4 Stars.

No.091 Wumpo [Level 3 to start, level 4 maxed]
No. 091b Wumpo Botan [Level 3 to start, level 4 maxed]
No. 092 Warsect [Level 3 to start, level 4 maxed]

Medicine

As of this time the highest level in Medicine is 4 with the following Pals maxed at 4 Stars.

No. 78 Vaelet [Level 3 to start, level 4 maxed]
No. 094 Felbat [Level 3 to start, level 4 maxed]
No. 104 Lyleen [Level 3 to start, level 4 maxed]
No. 104b Lyleen Noct [Level 3 to start, level 4 maxed]

Transporting

No. 091 Wumpo [Level 5 attainable]
No. 091b Wumpo Botan [Level 5 attainable]
No. 103 Grizzbolt [Level 4 maxed, with level 4 electricity]
No. 106 Orserk [Level 4 maxed, with level 5 electricity]

Watering

No. 082 Azurobe [Level 4 Watering, the safest choice due to compact size]
No. 080b Elphidran Aqua [Level 4 Watering, but may have pathing issues due to size]
No. 101 Jormuntide [Level 5 Watering, but clips through ceilings]
No. 102b Suzaku Aqua [Level 4 Watering, can get stuck on ceilings]

Generating Electricity

No. 103 Grizzbolt [Level 4 Electricity when maxed]
No. 106 Orserk [Level 5 Electricity when maxed, smaller than Grizzbolt, so less pathing issues]

Mining

No. 067 Digtoise [Well rounded choice and smaller than the rest, but not the greatest option]
No. 098 Astegon [Level 5 max, Will be fine out in the open but WILL get stuck inside of a base]
No. 096 Blazamut [Level 5 max, decent size]
No. 100 Anubis [Level 4 maxed and hybrids for best Handiwork]

Cooling

No. 011 Penking [Level 3 when maxed, can Water as well and smaller than most cooling options]
No. 071b Vanwyrm Cryst [Level 3 when maxed, works at night]
No. 083 Cryolinx [Level 4 maxed, The best choice for size vs. elemental level]
No. 110 Frostallion [Level 5 cooling when maxed but size might be an issue]

Gathering

No. 068 Tombat [Decent at Gathering, Mining and Transporting, small enough to get around]
No. 048 Robinquill [Always a safe choice, has great pathing and is versatile]
No. 077 Verdash [The 2nd best option technically but honestly the best choice for pathing]
No. 110b Frostallion Noct [The best but size might be an issue]

Perfect End Game Base Setup:

Black Marketeer
Chikipi
Mozzarina
Beegarde
Robinquill
Katress
Blazamut
Ragnahawk
Lyleen
Anubis x 2
Wumpo
Orserk x 2
Azurobe
Penking / Vanwyrm Cryst
Cryolinx
Verdash

This leaves 2 spots for flex. This way you can add 2 Pals to Breed at any given point, or you could double up on another type where you need it, like a second Azurobe or Lyleen for Planting / Watering or just more Orserk or Anubis... whatever you want.

I would suggest ALWAYS having 2 Pals that generate heat, electricity and cooling because those are staples of a functioning base! You can't depend on a single Pal for those three things as they're required constantly. The main Pal will need a break every once in a while.

Remember, if you rank up your pal to level 5 a.k.a. Star Rank 4, all of their ability ranks are increased +1.

This means a Pal with lightning level 4 ends up with level 5 and a Pal like Katress with level 2 Handiwork will end up with level 3... it's a nice boost.

The biggest issue is that it takes too much time catching 116 extra Pals of that same type and condensing them down to max out at star rank 4.

Thankfully you can just edit all this crap with the Cheat Engine Table[drive.google.com].
Passive Skills List
Passive Skills List[palworld.fandom.com]

List of 99% of the passive skills in the game.

This list is missing Lord of the Sea and Ice Emperor which are found exclusively on No. 101 Jormuntide and No. 110 Frostallion, for 20% elemental damage boosts to their respective elements, Water and Ice.

If you're too lazy to look for yourself, the following are currently the best passives in the game, and by best I mean only having positive stats with no downsides.

Fruit Skill Tree Locations

Fruit Skill Tree Guide[www.dexerto.com]

Mark these locations on your map in game with a symbol like the star so you can easily just farm them. They take a full in game day to respawn the fruit and some of the fruit skills are very hard to obtain but eventually you'll nab them all.

You can have your Pals consume these fruit and they'll learn the associated ability. Keep in mind that there are some glitches right now, as the game is in early access and certain Pals will never use certain elemental abilities.

It's best to keep the elemental type of fruit associated with the elemental type of Pal for the best results.

For example: Feed Dark skill fruit to Dark elemental Pals. Do not feed a Water skill fruit to a Fire elemental Pal, otherwise it may never use the attack and it'll be a waste of a fruit / slot...

Of course, you can always just duplicate your fruit with the Cheat Engine Table[drive.google.com] and it won't really matter much anyway.

If you're super desperate and lazy and can't be arsed to find those last few legendary fruits, you can just add them to your inventory with MagicBear's Save Editor[www.nexusmods.com]

Options are always nice.

Farm all the Legendary Schematics
Video provided by: DPJ

You can find all 9 Legendary Schematics from fighting specific Alpha Pals.

Check the video for specific locations of all those Pals and what they drop, there's time stamps in the video so it doesn't get any lazier.

Use your in game sliders to adjust Pal frequency to 3 before you load your world so that you fight 3 Alpha Pals at a time to multiply your gains.

If you want to have instant boss respawning see the Cheat Engine Table[drive.google.com] instructions at the very bottom of the guide.

Again you can always import these things directly in to your inventory with MagicBear's Save Editor[www.nexusmods.com]

Player Stat Allocation / Best Equipment Setup

Weapons:

Hyper Grappling Gun [Always good to have in case your flying mount eats it out in the wild]
Legendary Assault Rifle
Legendary Bazooka
Homing Sphere Launcher [You can just point, shoot and the Pal balls home in on targets]

Sword is the best Melee weapon in the game currently.

This is mostly player preference but you use whatever style suits you.
Nothing beats the Legendary Assault Rifle or Bazooka though for DPS attack power.

Head:
Pal Metal Helmet [Legendary]
Def: 240
Health: 560

Armour:
Cold/Heat Resistant Pal Metal Armor [Legendary]
Keep one of each in your inventory so you can traverse both extreme hot and cold climates.
Def: 400
Health:1200

Shield:
Hyper Shield
Shield: 1045

Glider:
Giga Glider / No. 047 Galeclaw in Party [Galeclaw is better than the Giga Glider]

Accessory 1:
Life Pendant +2
Increases Maximum Health +1092

Accessory 2:
Defense Pendant +2
Increases Defense 471

Stat Point Allocation:

At level 50 you have 64 points to distribute, I would recommend the following distribution:

Health: 30
Stamina: 0
Attack: 0
Defense: 0
Work Speed: 0
Weight: 34

Don't bother with any other stats, they're literally pointless.

You can create Memory Wiping Medicine at the Electric Medicine Workbench and change your stats whenever you feel like it.

The two most crucial stats in this game are Health and Weight, with Weight being the most important at the end game.

You could probably even pump 10 more points in to Weight and leave yourself with around 20 points in Health and be just fine, so long as you have the Life and Defense Pendants +2 equipped.
How to Level Up to 50 Quickly
Bring any flying mount, you can shoot off the back of, with a Rocket Launcher to the upper right Sanctuary and just go HAM on groups of Pals up there.

You'll level up to 50 in a matter of minutes.

Boss Order, Location & Weaknesses

At the end of the day the best Pal to use against any of these bosses is your own Legendary Bazooka ;) It literally obliterates these bosses way faster than any Pal could.

Take my recommendations with a grain of salt. I basically just listed all the high end Pals you should bring in with you for high DPS / Defense.

Some of the choices will be questionable, like I wouldn't bring a smaller pal in to some of these fights, especially against the ones with flying mounts like Marcus & Victor. Try to bring something bigger with you so they can reach the target easier.

The beauty part of this game is that the numbers of the Pal are in direct correlation to their own power, meaning the higher the No. of the Pal in the Paldeck, the stronger that Pal is.

No. 100 Anubis is the best option against two of these five bosses... So that alone just goes to show you how much effort was put in to this. LOL.

These bosses are literally a side quest in this game and make up only 10% of the overall growth of your character.

Cheat Engine Table / Instructions
Cheat Engine Table[drive.google.com]

Ah yes, the section you all came here for... cheating. LOL

Alright so as you know, or may not know, this game can be a giant time sink and there are some of us that have full time jobs and lives to get back to... not everyone can live that house NEET life. Unfortunately, gaming just isn't at the forefront of our priorities. This is the section for all you gamer dads and moms.

Cheat Engine Table functions:

Inventory Pointer:
Allows you to change the ID / Quantity / Rank of a current item.

Example:

You found a Thermal Undershirt or Pendant of some kind but it's the base level version and the rank is 2 in the cheat engine table. Pick the item up with your mouse, alt + tab out and go to the cheat engine pointer and change the rank to something higher.

BE CAREFUL, if you change the item to a rank that doesn't exist in the game, the game WILL CRASH. Base level accessories are Rank 2, Rank 3 is +1 and Rank 4 is +2... THIS IS THE MAX RANK for accessories, DO NOT GO HIGHER OR THE GAME CRASHES.

Schematics are different... A Legendary Schematic is Rank 6 and the base common grey rank is 2. Rank 1 is what your character has built in to his/her wheelhouse already, so don't change it to that either.

DO NOT CHANGE THE ITEM ID unless you know exactly what the ID is you want to change the item to!

I would recommend against changing the quantity with this pointer as it's very fickle. This pointer only works with items your mouse is highlighted over. If you alt + tab and your mouse moves, you may be editing the wrong item... use the following pointer to change quantity.

Pickup Pointer:
Pick up an item, alt + tab, change the quantity... basically you can halve stacks of items, place them in feeding baskets and then change the quantity of the stack to 9999.... your Pals will never go hungry... like ever... as long as the dev's fix the pathing issues. ;)

You can do this with everything, find 1 of something or craft 1 of something, you can now stack it up to 9999 on a single slot... you're welcome. ;)

Pal Pointer:
This is probably the single most broken option on this table.

You can change your Pal's Levels, Ranks, Upgrades and Passives!

I would recommend against changing Pal levels, even though they will gain all of the stat boosts associated with the level ups, they won't learn any abilities. Your best bet is to just change the in game slider to 20x EXP gain and go from there. It takes roughly 3 or 4 minutes to max out a Pal from level 1 to 50 if you know what you're doing.

This option further allows you to change your Pals Passives, so long as you already have an existing Pal with said passive. [so that you can copy the ID and rank] Couple this with the option so that Pals always roll with 4 passive slots unlocked and you're laughing. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES JUST CHANGE THE NUMBER OF PASSIVE SLOTS! IT WILL NOT WORK! You MUST catch or breed the Pal with 4 passives slots to edit all 4 of them.

Also, ID's for the passives CHANGE WITH EACH SESSION. Meaning, you can't just open a notepad, save the ID's and then boot the game up again and start copy / pasting stuff. You have to copy and paste ID's in to a notepad DURING THE ACTIVE SESSION and then copy them to another Pal DURING THAT SAME SESSION!

Also, this pointer takes about 10 seconds to register the next Pal, so don't just go crazy flipping through menus and selecting new Pals, wait for the ID's to change so you know you're editing the next Pal.

Also keep in mind the Ranks associated with each ID... if something has a 0 Rank, you MUST leave it as 0... as it's a static ID with no ranking.

Here are the best passives to look out for:

Legend: Attack +20%, Defense +20%, Movement Speed increases 15%
Lucky: Work Speed +15%, Attack +15%
Ferocious: Attack +20%
Burly Body: Defense +20%
Swift: 30% increase to movement speed. [Has RANK]
Artisan: Work Speed +50%
Workaholic: SAN drops 15% Slower [Has RANK]

Elemental Damage Passives:

Divine Dragon: 20% increase to Dragon attack damage.
Lord of Lightning: 20% increase to Lightning attack damage.
Lord of the Underworld: 20% increase to Dark attack damage.
Lord of the Sea: 20% increase to Water attack damage.
Spirit Emperor: 20% increase to Grass attack damage.
Celestial Emperor: 20% increase to Normal attack damage.
Flame Emperor: 20% increase to Fire attack damage.
Ice Emperor: 20% increase to Ice attack damage.

Unlimited Ammo:

Self explanatory. As long as you have 1 bullet for whatever weapon you're using, you don't have to reload and don't have to worry about depleting your ammo with this option turned on. The Bazooka is insane with this option on but BE CAREFUL! Blasting the Bazooka rapidly can crash the game quite easily, as you're not meant to rapid fire shoot the bazooka!

No Hunger/Decay/Weight/Durability

I never really used any of these options so I have no idea what they're capable of but it seems pretty self explanatory to me... you never go hungry, your bases never decay, you have unlimited weight so you can carry whatever your inventory can hold and you never lose weapon or armor durability.

100% Capture Rate

No matter which Pal ball you're throwing or how tough the enemy is, you capture it 100%

Easy Pal Condensation

Probably my favorite option, but kind of redundant seeing as you can change the Ranking of your Pal with the Pal Pointer option, but yeah, you only need to capture/breed 4 extra Pals to Rank up your main Pal to 5... it only costs 1 Pal per level instead of 4, 16, 32 and 64.

Instant Incubation

Easily the dumbest option on this table as there's an in game custom option to turn off incubation time before you even load your world... just look for it. :/

Unlimited Base Camps

I never used it but it will allow you to build more than 3 Pal Boxes around the world... don't ask me what happens when you save the game with 4 or 5 bases built and then try to load your game because I never bothered messing with this. It probably just tricks the game in to thinking you have less than 3 bases and allows you to just continue to put down Pal Boxes, once they're built the game probably doesn't care much after that.

Increase Pal Shop Inventory

Again, never used it... probably allows the Pal merchants to carry like 30 extra Pals instead of 5 but I just go out catching the Pals I need... no real need to buy them.

Pal Always Rolls Perfect Attack / Defense

I think this option is indeed broken. If you have this option on with "Pal Always Rare" it doesn't work... but I don't think it works any way, so turn it on I guess? I always do... the stats are always random.

Pal Always Rolls 4 Passive Slots

YES... Just YES... turn this on and catch stuff!

Pal Always Rare

It's annoying to listen to that glitter chime sound but Pals will always roll with the Lucky passive so it's one less passive ID you have to edit.

Also this is the most important part of this option. If you leave it on and kill Alpha Pals THEY INSTANTLY RESPAWN IF YOU TRAVEL A CERTAIN DISTANCE AWAY. This option allows you to farm Legendary Schematics in mere minutes instead of days.

It also doesn't count as the boss being killed, so take note! If you want the ancient tech point for killing the Alpha Pal and you want recognition on the map [the check mark] then you have to TURN THIS OPTION OFF and kill the Alpha Pal.

JUST REMEMBER, once you kill an Alpha Pal with the option turned off you'll have to wait out the hour long timer to get it to respawn again!

Cheat Engine Instructions Continued...
Instant Egg / Chest Respawn

Again, I never used this option, it probably crashes the game if left on. From my understanding, you can basically keep opening the same chest or collecting the same egg from the world, it probably doesn't work with Breeding eggs, but you could try it... again, I never used the option and it comes with a warning built in, so use it at your own risk.

Unlimited Items

Allows you to duplicate items. You turn it on, then move an item from one spot in your inventory or a container to another spot and the original item remains. Before you think you're going to get slick, IT DOES NOT WORK ON BREEDING EGGS! LOL HA!

I mean technically yes, you can duplicate the egg, but try to go and incubate them. :P The timer glitches at 99 hours and never moves. This means the egg has a unique Pal ID that spawns a new Pal with each egg, so two of them can't exist in the same game, sorry people. You can however duplicate weapons, guns, accessories, stacks of materials and food...basically everything else without qualms.

If you do happen to accidentally duplicate eggs without reading this, have fun discarding each one individually. ;)

Technology Pointers

Just as it says, let's you edit the amount of normal tech or ancient tech points you have so you can just unlock everything as you level up without the need to go around hunting Alpha Pals, fight tower bosses or even farm tech books.

Just note: If this table ever stops working, I don't care. LOL I am not the creator of it, I just posted it here because it's the best possible one out there due to the Pal pointer. You either jumped on top of this early or you got left in the dust... find your own resources, Google is your friend. Hopefully someone else will maintain a working table for the future if this one ever does become unusable.

As of creating this guide, most of the table options still function, aside from the always rolling perfect stats option.

The other alternative is to just go to the next section and download the save editor.
Palworld Save Editor
Literally allows you to edit your save file.

BACK UP YOUR SAVE BEFORE YOU START MUCKING AROUND!

Your save file for Palworld is located in C:\ > Users > [Your Name] > AppData [This folder is hidden so make sure to switch on "view hidden folders" to locate it] > Local > Pal > Saved > SaveGames.

Again, I'm not responsible for what you do with this.

It allows you to migrate your character to another server / world so you don't lose any progress but allows you to start on a fresh, untouched world, or just import your character to a friends server.

You can also spawn items like skill fruit / schematics in to your inventory and edit all of your Pal's stats.

It's a little more intense than the Cheat Engine Table[drive.google.com] provided so use with caution.

Enjoy your time in Palworld!

I do not condone the use of these cheats in online mode, they should be used in single player offline mode only, in your own private world.

Play the game your way but don't ruin the experience for anyone else!
