A good clicker game that suffers from aggressive monetization techniques.

It's fun to learn new facts about the way our universe came to be and how things work, but the joy is short lived because the game is constantly on your nose saying "Buy! Buy! Buy!".

Couple examples:
Logged back in? Here's your earnings from the time you were offline, but wait! Press this button to double them! It only costs 2 Darwinium~ (a very rare resource needed for some permanent upgrades, you can buy this with real money). The prompt button to do so is conveniently always straight under your mouse when it pops up so if you are careless when the popup happens, which is very often, and click it you will lose your precious resources for miniscule gain. And no, it does not ask for confirmation either.

Another example is the flying golden pickups that you can click to gain a big surge of points, sounds good right? Wrong! Less than half of those straight up give you the points when you click them, the rest will open a similar prompt akin to the login one asking you for Darwinium to activate the pickup and in the same fashion the accept button is STRAIGHT UNDER YOUR MOUSE WHEN YOU CLICK THEM!!! They fly across the screen very frequently so if you're button mashing while watching something on your other screen tough luck, your Darwinium is now gone. It also doesn't matter where your mouse is because these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will find it. They fly in straight line but the game tracks where your cursor is and makes sure that some of those pickups will hit it, diabolical.

3rd and last example i want to give is the events. They are deliberately designed in a way that even if you play nonstop, you can't reach all the goals and get all the rewards before they end unless, you guessed it, spend crap ton of Darwinium! The fear of missing out on the rewards incentifies players to crack open their wallets. Those golden pickups from the 2nd example are also present in these events.

TLDR: Aggressive monetization ruins the fun

This game is "free" until you want to make progress faster. And they'll put you on the leaderboards to make sure you do.

I'd prefer to pay for a game once, and not "per hour" of boosts.

But maybe you enjoy being shoved "easy to click accidentally" predatory "buy progress boost" windows in your face all the time.

This modern illusion of "free to play" is disgusting.

A great concept, ruined by the plague of in-app purchases that unnecessarily introduce gachan style gaming.

I'm still likely to play this more, but I can't recommend it.

Elaborating: Horrible, tired, unethical game model, where the devs make the game free and then hope some players get addicted enough to start throwing money at it. Adhering to the "Skinner box" design, it preys on people who are susceptible to psychological mechanisms related to reward and reinforcement, especially those with poor impulse control, who will start spending money to speed up the rewards. Incidentally, this game is designed to be played with an auto clicker, and every few seconds it literally slides easy-to-click objects across the screen that, when clicked, lead to the consumption of purchasables. Shameful. Anyway, I like the theme and content, and this COULD -- with several tweaks -- become an educational game. However, in its current state (which is unlikely to change), it's only a sad piece of morally reprehensible game design, meant to foster addiction and profit from it, not to educate/entertain.

If you're actually into the click-button-get-reward genre (?), just go play Cookie Clicker on your browser. At least it's truly free -- and FAR more complex and interesting than this game.

Aggressive Monetization with prompts that sometimes reward you and sometimes prompt you to pay money for the same effect. Cool game in premise, very pretty, but ultimately a chore to deal with after a day or two.

Concept and presentation wise, its a great game, especially for free. I love the educational angle of it too, but... it needs to make money still.

The game is made with an auto-clicker in mind because the numbers to upgrade as absurd. So even if I'm making 1 billion a second abusing an auto-clicker.
10 billion in 10 seconds
60 billion in 60 seconds (1 minute)
600 billion in 600 seconds (10 minutes)
1 Trillion in 1000 seconds (16.6 minutes)
Seems decent. When is the next upgrade. 5 Trillion! If my math is right that's almost 83 minutes, almost an hour and a half, for 1 upgrade.... of hundreds. This gain rate is just insane.

Honestly, I'd be more comfortable buying this at like $10 or $15 and having a consistent and realistic progression rate vs this wall of slog where you come back once a day and play for 5 minutes before you can't do anything else.

this game is one of the best idle games I have played, but I just grinded this game for about 70 hours doing a timed event only for it to give me no rewards as a bug, I want this bug fixed
