I followed this https://www.reddit.com/r/summonerswar/comments/192gw11/fix_steam_version_if_you_are_using_msi_afterburner/ and it solved my issue (the same as you had):
Hello everybody,
I had the issue that I was stuck on server selection on the Steam version. It didn't crash but I was just stuck there without being able to click anything. After closing MSI Afterburner which also closes RivaTuner (this causes the problem) and restarting the game I was able to continue, login etc. I can't see them fixing that anytime soon, so here are some steps to get rid of the issue:
open up RivaTuner
on the left side click on the add button and search for the SummonersWar.exe
add it, choose it on the left and set the Application Detection Level on the right to None.
restart the game
done
You are basically creating an exception in RivaTuner for Summoner's War so that it doesn't hook into it.
