It would make the game accessible to a larger audience that wouldn’t normally be able to afford a strong computer. Also, it coincides well with offline.

Thought I'd come back and post here,

I got the full game running on steam deck.

You need to install cryo utilities, it optimizes the way steam deck loads/reads/stores data for performance in games. I installed it and first thing I tested it on was islands of insight on low graphics settings. It stuttered a bit after launching but ran smooth like butter was it got in game.
