love that there's a breeding mechanic, so you really have to keep an eye on who you're putting together
and that i can share my well bred animals with the community
i strive to perfect their genology to soon breed 100%

It definitely has a steep learning curve, but if you can get a handle on the controls and the quirks of the pathing system, this is a ton of creative fun. I love that not only do I get to build lovely habitats for my animals, I learn about them, too! I've learned a lot about different species' behavior, pack dynamics, conservation status... it's really cool!

If you're struggling with getting started, there are some great tutorial Youtubers like Rudi Rennkamel. It's so worth it to push through and get to designing fun habitats for your babies.
