Today, it finally loads in, but I am hours behind where I was (2 bosses). Any way to get my previous save game back?
Were you in-game when the hotfix went live?
No. But the server was running. Steam automatically updated V-Rising at the time.
Are you using any mods?
None.
1. Noticed the patch, updated V-Rising on steam, seemingly successfully.
2. Shut down server.
3. Backed up server save files.
4. Ran and logged into steamcmd console
5. Command "app_update 1829350", VRisingDedicatedServer updated successfully
6. Ran start_server.bat
7. Launched game, attempted to join server, immediate crash after entering password.
8. Verified integrity of files for V Rising on steam.
9. Able to join the server successfully (server remained running)
Same exact thing with Hot Fix 6, but not Hot Fix 7, where I believe the exact same steps were followed for both.
Were you in-game when the hotfix went live?
