Hawthorn berries not working right in 9.3sp1
Hawthorn berries turn on only for a brief moment in the fall and then turn off. Hard to pick berries that way.

Mid-Autumn is when they briefly turn ripe, then go dark again.

As far as I know, each Harvestable item is only available during certain Seasons; they are not available all year long.

They should be available for more than a few seconds, which is all they last. That's not long enough to collect anything. Blueberries are unaffected and can be gathered during their normal season. It's just the Hawthorn bushes that I've noticed this happening.

If this wasn't just a 'glitch' and you see this happen again, you should report the Hawthorn Berries issue over on the Official Forum so Devs can check/track the issue. A few seconds is crazy, they should be harvestable much longer than that.

Berries in general are a waste of manpower and time, even blueberries, they rot too fast. Better to get some beans going if you worry about scurvy.
