A T-series military strategic analysis and tactics droid was active during the Clone Wars, it was present on the surface of the planet Anaxes during the Battle of Anaxes. It arrived at the aftermath of a short firefight between Clone Force 99 and a group of B1-series battle droids, holding a hologram of Admiral Trench. A nearby BX-series droid commando addressed the hologram, reporting that the clones had used unorthodox methods to defeat the droids. After the report, the tactical droid returned to the speeder in which it arrived and left the scene. The droid continued to report the clone troopers' actions during the battle to the Harch.

Biography[]

Serving Trench[]

In 19 BBY,[3] the tactical droid served under Admiral Trench during the Battle of Anaxes in the Clone Wars. He arrived at a crash site of a Republic Gunship on a speeder after a brief skirmish between Clone Force 99 and a group of B1-series battle droids.[2]

A BX-series droid commando approached him as the tactical droid talked with Admiral Trench, the commando addresed the hologram, reporting that the clones had used unorthodox strategies to defeat the droids. Later, the tactical droid reported to Trench from an ambushed separatist outpost, informing the Admiral that a clone strike team had captured the outpost and deserted it,[2] the Harch[4] told him that he saw no tactical value in taking the outpost, however, he informed the droid that the clones' next target would be the Cyber Center, and that he wanted the tactical droid to connect him with the outpost immediately. The tactical droid later reported to Trench after the clones were chased out of the Cyber Center that they had made a connection with the planet Skako Minor while they were there, which alarmed Trench.[2]

Legacy[]

After Trench was informed of the connection with Skako Minor,[2] the Admiral contacted Minister Wat Tambor, alerting him that the Republic was going to attack the Techno Union. Although Wat Tambor initially dismissed Trench's warning, he ultimately accepted it and prepared for the clones' arrrival[5]

  3. The events involving Ahsoka Tano and the Martez sisters on Oba Diah take place between Tano's trial and departure from the Jedi Order, and the Battle of Coruscant, which takes place concurrently to the Siege of Mandalore that Tano fought in. Both the trial and the Battle of Coruscant are dated to 19 BBY by Star Wars: Galactic Atlas, so "Gone with a Trace," "Deal No Deal," "Dangerous Debt" and "Together Again" must also take place in that year. StarWars Star Wars: The Clone Wars Chronological Episode Order on StarWars.com (backup link) places "The Bad Batch," "A Distant Echo," "On the Wings of Keeradaks" and "Unfinished Business" between "Together Again" and "Old Friends Not Forgotten," which are both dated to 19 BBY. Hence, the battle and the episode's events take place in 19 BBY.
