"It's not so much that we're noble…it's just a lot more fun this way. I mean, if you're machine-augmented rebels, you wanna use those augmentations, don'tcha?"
―The M.A.R. Corps member[1]

A human cyborg was a member of the M.A.R. Corps, a team of individuals with extensive cybernetics who fought for the Rebel Alliance. Alongside fellow cyborg rebels Blades, Chamdaka, and Tandorvo, the human was present at Zee-Nine City Seven, where they attacked Galactic Empire forces led by Lieutenant Enric Pryde. The Sith Lord Darth Vader, who wished to take control of the M.A.R. Corps and utilize them as servants, arrived to fight them, implanting them with Imperial droid brains. Under Vader's orders, the human and their fellow cyborgs turned on the other rebels. The human was struck by a blast that temporarily disabled their droid brain, and they attempted to get their comrades to fight the programming, but they were soon implanted with another. Vader then took the cyborgs to his fortress on Mustafar to be modified, ensuring that their droid brains would not lose control.[1] After Vader allied himself with Administrator Sly Moore's Schism Imperial breakaway faction, he set the M.A.R. Corps to fight former governor Tauntaza, another member, as a test. During the skirmish, the human's droid brain was disconnected, and they turned against Vader a second time. Vader used the Force to reconnect the processor, and the Imperial programming took over the human once again.[2]
