"Under the Hammer" is a comic strip written by Robin Etherington that was originally published in the sixth issue of the Star Wars Comic UK magazine released May 2014. It was later reprinted in Star Wars Magazine 3.

Plot summary[]

Around 20 BBY,^[source?] the Jedi Kit Fisto and Ahsoka Tano were traveling through the sweltering jungles of planet Callos during the Clone Wars to find a meeting. Kisto denied they were lost, and pointed out that using lightsabers to clear the way was hardly regulation. They then stumbled upon an illegal auction done by the Clawfish Roaming Auction of Illicit and Illegal Weaponry.

Among the items for sale was a banned Hydra Mark VI pod system. The two Jedi arrived just in time to for Clawfish to start the bid on a Venomator designed by Bogg.

The opening bid began at 10 million by a Tusken Raider, who strips off the cloak to reveal that the is Asajj Ventress. Tano then keeps bidding. T'orn Zorc then opens fire in the name of Black Sun.

His enforcers try to steal the vehicle while the Jedi try to intervene. Zorc fires on them.

The missiles go right for Fisto, but Tano knocks him out away. Ventress then saves the pair and they withdraw.

Zorc keeps firing, and Ventress suggests that she and the Jedi work together. They try to distract the enforcers and thin their ranks.

Ventress and Fisto deflect the weapons fire while Tano knocks out the stage supports, tipping over the Venomator. Ventress then stabs through it, and it explodes. The assassin reveals that her real mission was not the vehicle, but Zorc, who was too unpredictable to take over Black Sun. The auctioneer then reminds the Jedi taht they had won the last bid at 15 million.
