"As we discover in the book, Life Day has spread from the Wookiee's home planet and is now celebrated on worlds near and far—and yes, we do feature a story set on Kashyyyk with Chewbacca's family, including his father Attichitcuk, wife Mallatobuck, and son Lumpawaroo."
Cavan Scott[2]

  3. "The Tree of Life" takes place after Lumpawaroo was freed in Aftermath: Empire's End but before the Millennium Falcon was stolen. Aftermath: Empire's End features the Battle of Jakku, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places in 5 ABY, and the Millennium Falcon was stolen a few years prior to Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places in 34 ABY, meaning that the latest it could've been stolen is 32 ABY. Therefore "The Tree of Life" takes place between 5 ABY and 32 ABY.
