Slandarv was a human male baron of the Galactic Empire. He operated a factory on Slandarvia M-9, where he secretly constructed a new model of battle droid. Assistant Data Processor Fabarian, a member of Administrator Sly Moore's Schism Imperial, approved a speeder fine for Slandarv, who summoned the processor to his office to reprimand him. However, Fabarian had intended to irritate Slandarv in order to gain access to his offices and use an autoslicer to copy data that confirmed the existence of the baron's battle droid. The Sith Lord Darth Vader, working alongside the Schism Imperial, led an attack on Slandarv's factory, forcing the baron to authorize a reprogram of his droids to obey Vader rather than Emperor Palpatine. Slandarv complied, but upon realizing Vader was working against the Emperor, attempted to flee. Pursued by Fabarian, Slandarv threatened to destroy the entire facility, save for the chamber the two were inside, in an attempt to kill Vader. Fabarian, learning that the civilian housing outside the factory would also be destroyed, shot and killed Slandarv.^[2]
