Sector 7-E (comic)

"Sector 7-E" is a comic story featuring Kazuda Xiono from Star Wars Resistance. It was published as the lead story of Star Wars Adventures (2017) 17 on January 30, 2019.

Plot summary[]

Kazuda Xiono day dreamed that a large First Order fleet attacked the planet Hosnian Prime. Unable to stop the First Order, General Leia Organa and Commander Poe Dameron looked down in agony as the First Order converged on the planet. But then an X-wing starfighter appeared and started to take out the First Order TIE fighters. Realizing that it was Xiono, General Organa awarded him a medal for his bravery.

Neeku Vozo interrupted his daydream to instruct him on how to flush clogs out of the systems of the Colossus. As Vozo explained it, Xiono daydreamed again but was quickly woken up by Vozo who continued to stress the importance of what he was teaching him.

Later on, Xiono was walking through the Colossus with BB-8, when BB-8 left him after he heard a noise. Xiono chased after him and they arrived at Sector 7-E which was off limits to members of the Colossus. They looked out and spotted thieves moving crates. Knowing that they had to stop the thieves, BB-8 rolled off and opened up a vent, rolling through it to reach the thieves.

The thieves found the weapons in the crates they needed but were left with the problem of getting them out of the Colossus. But then BB-8 fell through the vent and landed right in front of the thieves. The thieves didn't want any witnesses and prepared to blast BB-8 to pieces. Realizing what was about to happen, Xiono who was still outside Sector 7-E, ran over to a control panel. Turning a wheel, Xiono opened up a pump intake valve located above BB-8. This caused BB-8 to be shot up the valve and travel through the pipes of the Colossus. But another problem quickly emerged. BB-8 was heading straight for the furnace of the ship. Xiono quickly ran over to a lever. He pulled the lever which caused BB-8 to change directions and head down another pipe.

The pirates then launched thermal detonators into the valve and they barrelled towards BB-8. Pulling another lever, Xiono was able to quickly divert BB-8 away from the detonators. BB-8 then fell out of the pump intake valve and landed in mud.

As the thieves were taking away their stolen cargo they were stopped and arrested by security droids. Xiono thanked BB-8 for his help and as they were walking back he noticed a circuit hub. Using sting he made a medal for himself out of the circuit hub.
