Nwo was an elderly Quarren male and retired pilot who was present on Valo for the Republic Fair. When the Nihil attacked the festivities, Nwo was onboard the Innovator, a state-of-the-art exploration vessel which was landed on a floating dock in Lake Lonisa. As the Innovator began to sink due to the damage, Nwo escaped the ship alongside Kitrep Soh, Jom Lariin, and several others.^[1]
