The second lightsaber wielded by Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros was a blue-bladed weapon with a physical crossguard on the hilt.[1] Cantaros' first lightsaber was destroyed on the moon Wevo by Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh after a skirmish with Nihil pirates led the Padawan to nearly fall to the dark side of the Force. Afterwards, the pieces of the weapon were stolen by the aspiring scientist Avon Starros, who wanted to study its kyber crystal.[3] Due to various crises, Cantaros had to use a loaner lightsaber for months as he had no time to acquire a new kyber crystal and build a new weapon. He was finally able to go on the pilgrimage and complete his new weapon in the aftermath of the attack on Valo, inspired by Marshal Avar Kriss' lightsaber to give his new blade a physical crossguard on the hilt.[1]
