Embra was a compassionate Hutt who could often be found at Jabba's Palace on Tatooine, with fellow Hutts Jabba and Malta. He was known for wearing a nose ring through both nostrils. Embra based his operations on the jungle planet Mazhar.
Biography[]
Because of his kinder disposition that was not often seen in Hutts, he had a strong loyalty amongst his subjects. At some point before the Battle of Yavin, Embra, along with Jabba and Malta, organized a hunt for the Yavin Vassilika. For his three contractors, Embra chose the bounty hunters 4-LOM, Zuckuss, and Sardu Sallowe.[1]
During the Yuuzhan Vong War, after narrowly escaping a death sentence by the invaders, Embra led a resistance group against the Yuuzhan Vong known as the Sisar Runners. Near the end of the war, he aided the Galactic Alliance.[2]
During the Vong War, Embra had his headquarters on Nar Shaddaa. As punishment for the Hutts' betrayal, group of Vong warriors were sent to attack the resistance.

Embra appears in the comic book Underworld: The Yavin Vassilika, as well as the New Jedi Order series.
In the Wizards of the Coast article I, Yuuzhan Vong, Embra is the subject of the Adventure Seed: For the Glory of Yun-Yuuzhan! where the players must attack the Hutt's secrect base.
