"Take the foundling to the city of Calodan on the forest planet of Corvus. There you will find Ahsoka Tano."
―Bo-Katan Kryze instructs Din Djarin[3]

Corvus was a forest planet in the Outer Rim Territories that was home to the city of Calodan.[1]

Geographic Features[]

The planet was a world of vast forests and distant mountains. Corvus was rich in untapped raw Minerals and natural resources ideal for starship construction as were many planets in the Corvus System.[5]

History[]

Corvus was originally a humble, backwater planet with little to no economic value. At some point, Morgan Elsbeth arrived on the planet, seeing the potential of its natural resources. Morgan promised the people economic progress, jobs and wealthy, thus people elected her Magistrate of the planet. During the Imperial Era, Morgan, factories and mines were constructed to harvest the planet’s raw materials and goods. Morgan however, paid little in wages, keeping most of the profits for herself and her conglomerate leaving the people of Corvus poor and disillusioned.[5]

Over the years, Morgan’s rule become more despotic and tyrannical, with her continuously exploiting the planet and it’s people, strip-mining the planet and mercenary forces abusing and terrorizing the citizens. As of force and terror, Morgan ordered the forests around Calodan burned and declared to the people that the fires would continue burning and they would work night and day in her factories cementing her statues as a cruel despot. "My base of operations is on Corvus, a planet ripe with raw goods and materials."
―Morgan Elsbeth[5]

In 9 ABY,[7] the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano could be found on the planet[3] in pursuit of a lead on the location of Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo "Thrawn" from his disciple Morgan Elsbeth, who had come to rule over the city of Calodan with an iron fist as magistrate[2] of her own regime.[8] Tano's presence on Corvus was known to an old ally of hers, the Mandalorian Bo-Katan Kryze. After seizing an Imperial Gozanti-class cruiser on the estuary moon Trask, Kryze told the Child of the Watch Din Djarin to seek Tano out on Corvus and bring to her Grogu, a powerful Force-sensitive infant.[3] Elsbeth gave Djarin the task of killing Tano, who had been giving her problems. Eventually Djarin met up with Tano, and after a short fight in the woods they united to take Calodan. Tano defeated Elsbeth in a duel and control of the city went to Governor Wing.[2]
