You guys want Batman: Arkham Asylum to be good, we want it to be good, hell, the same could be said for just about anyone. We had previously heard that the hype-inducing title would be coming to PC as a Games for Windows LIVE title, and that didn’t sit well with some readers.

We completely understand that once you’ve devoted time and energy into a platform — say Steam, for instance — you desperately want the alternatives to fail. Hey, I know how it feels; I still own an HD-DVD player in shame, after all. But for those of you who are fine with GFW LIVE, here are Arkham Asylum‘s requirements:

Minimum:
• CPU: Intel single core 3 Ghz or AMD equivalent
• Memory: XP = 1 GB, Vista = 2GB
• GPU: Shader Model 3 NVidia 6600 or ATI 1300 or higher

Recommended:
• CPU: Pentium D 3Ghz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Dual core)
• Memory: XP = 2GB, Vista = 3GB
• GPU: NVidia 7900 GT or higher

Pretty doable, I’d say. The real question, though, is whether or not there’s going to be a more enticing offer than The Joker being playable in the PlayStation 3 version of the game. Because really, that’s not going to be easily beaten.
