Are your Sims ready to get involved in some of the happenings in Chestnut Ridge? Well, fear not because there are two new The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Events that players can take part in!
The Ranch Gathering and Ranch Animal Day are exciting additions to the expansion pack. So get ready for a Cowpoke throwdown and show off your cute and adorable animals in these new events!

Creating an Event
Like with any event, simply head over to your Sims Calendar, located at the bottom left-hand corner of the screen alongside the cell phone. You can also create an event directly from your Sims’ cell phone too!
Once you are in your Sims calendar, head down to the Add Event section of the calendar. From there, simply scroll through your events list until you find the event.
It’s important to note that there are two versions of this event. A goal and non-goal event. The main difference is that the goal version of the event will allow you to earn rewards depending on what your overall result is.
Now you have chosen which type of event you want to complete, you can head over to the next screen.
Here you will select your host, guests, event time as well as the location of your event. When it comes to choosing the location, you can select your current property or from selected community locations around the world, including various lots in Chestnut Ridge!
Once you’ve finished selecting planning, you’ll notice that the event will show on the calendar just like other events. You can see the full details of the event by clicking on them and also make edits to the event and even delete it if needed.

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Events
Both of the new Sims 4 Horse Ranch Events can be played either with or without goals and they will cost $100 to partake in.
Ranch Gathering
Say howdy to family and friends with a Ranch Gathering! Pull up a barrel, there’s Ranch Music, Cowpoke Dancing, Grilling, Nectar, and all the neighbourly socialization a Sim could want! Experience an unforgettable day on the Ranch!
Challenge Rewards: Guests are ready and eager to donate Simoleons to the Ranch. How much? Well, it depends on how successful the event is.
The Day of the Ranch Gathering
You’ll be prompted ahead of the event to remind you when it is as well as just as it starts so that your Sim can travel to this The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Event. Once you arrive you’ll be able to get started on the goals if you’ve selected that event version or just go about the event until it has ended.
Event Goals
There are a variety of different goals your Sim can carry out throughout the duration of a Ranch Gathering.
Take a look at some of the goals you can expect to see during the event.
Your overall goal for this Sims 4 Horse Ranch Event is to make guests happy, however, there are additional goals your Sims can complete during the event too.
- Meet Guests
- Eat Grilled Food
- Have Guests Perform a Cowpoke Dance
- Joke with Guests
- Craft Nectar at the Nectar Maker
- Have Guests Drink Nectar
- Light or Stoke a Firepit
- Hangout around a Firepit
- Listen to Ranch Music
Remember, the more goals you complete, the more successful, and the higher Simoleon reward you can expect your Sim to receive!

Tips for the Ranch Gathering
- Ensure you have a campfire for the gathering
- Ensure you have placed or have access to a Grill, Rootin n Fruitin Nectar Maker, Stereo and seating available for guests.
Ranch Animal Day
Horses, Mini Sheep, and Mini Goats, oh my! Caring and playing with these animals might just be another day on the Ranch for some, but for our friends and community members it can be a fun-and-filled event! Get together and celebrate what these Ranch Abunaks bring to the world!

Tips For A Great Ranch Animal Day
- Ensure you have multiple Mini Sheep and Mini Goats available and placed on the event lot for eventgoers to interact with.
- Make sure there are plenty of Animal Feeders that are full at the event too.
