Natasha Lyonne Is Officially Joining the MCU
Popular American Pie, Poker Face, and Russian Doll actress latest to join Fantastic Four.
Natasha Lyonne is officially joining the MCU, Deadline reports, with the popular actress set to appear in Fantastic Four in an undisclosed role.
She joins a stacked Fantastic Four cast that includes Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. Ozark actress Julia Garner play the Silver Surfer and Ralph Ineson will feature as Galactus.
We don't know much about Lyonne's role in Fantastic Four, as much of the plot remains under wraps. Lyonne has found fame over her long career with projects including Orange is the New Black, But I'm a Cheerleader and American Pie. She recently starred in the award-winning drama Poker Face, which is set to return for a second season.
Lyonne adds yet more star power to The Fantastic Four, which looks to be a centerpiece film for the MCU going forward. The first major image has already sparked some wild fan theories about where the movie will take the shared universe.
When it's eventually released, The Fantastic Four will kick off the MCU's Phase 6, which also includes Blade and multiple Avengers films. Right now, the MCU is in the midst of Phase 5, with Deadpool & Wolverine set to be the next major release. The Fantastic Four will be out July 25, 2025.
