New Superman set photos have emerged, seemingly revealing Mister Terrific along with new shots of star David Corenswet in costume.

Cleveland.com posted the new photos on X/Twitter along with an article detailing the action on the set. According to the story, the production was in Clevand to shoot a new action sequence on a closed section of Superior Avenue with "prop rubble and wrecked cards." Director James Gunn and Lois Lane actress Rachel Brosnahan were reportedly among those on site for the scene.

Superman fans will be especially interested in what looks like a glimpse of Mister Terrific, who is played by Edi Gathegi, shown wearing a stylish motorcyle jacket and mask. Fans on social media also took note of Corenswet in costume, with Cleveland.com confirming that the logo can be seen on the back of the cape.

In the comics, Mister Terrific is a founding member of the Justice Society of America who is known for his intelligence and athletic abilities. Similar to Batman, Mister Terrific is a gadget-oriented hero, utilizing a device called the T-Sphere to hack computers and cloak himself.

He isn't as well-known as some other heroes, but Gunn has a history of bringing previously obsure superheroes to prominence, most notably the Guardians of the Galaxy, and he seems especially eager to introduce fans to Mister Terrific.

Elsewhere, Gunn previously revealed David Corenswet's Superman costume in early May, leading to plenty of comments on his red trunks and more. Last week, set photos also revealed the construction of a sleek Daily Planet office.

Previously known as Superman: Legacy, the new film set to relaunch the DCU began production earlier this year. Gunn has been providing a steady stream of updates on social media, shooting down rumors and generally keeping fans up to date on how things are going. It's currently slated for release on July 11, 2025.
