Fantasy leagues for the likes of football, basketball, and other team-based sports have been around for decades, letting fans live the dream of being in charge of their favourite professional teams. So if it works out for traditional sports, why not for esports teams as well?

That’s where Eion comes in, a new platform developed by Aghs Labs, aiming to bring in different Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports teams, clubs, and fans together into one thriving community. Fans can engage in this fantasy league in a number of ways, including Locker and Invoke.

Locker is a prediction-based virtual collectable card game where the goal is to attain the highest score possible through drafting the outcomes of ongoing esports games and matches. Fans will need to be crafty when selecting players, respective skills and support cards to earn points based on their predictions.

Fans can earn their favourite players through Booster Packs, with each pack containing five random Eions cards. They come in three varieties, the all-encompassing Standard Pack, the support and skill-based Rotating Utility Pack, and the Team Specific Pack.

These cards can be combined in the Forge, allowing individual cards to be refined and be more effective. Playing and making the right predictions with a refined card in Locker will grant players fame on the leaderboard.

The other mode, Invoke, is a game that is designed for fans and viewers to create their dream team with their favourite players across different teams and regions. Like in a traditional fantasy league, fans will earn points based on each player's individual performance across the season to redeem exclusive rewards

Fans can also earn Shards through Locker matches, which can be used to open Eion booster packs. There’s also a leaderboard that shows every Eion player’s standing in Seasonal, Weekly and Fame rankings.

Check out more of Eion and play it for yourself on its official website.
