Just last weekend, we witnessed the conclusion of Worlds 2023 in South Korea, where Team T1, led by the legend of the game, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, emerged victorious against Weibo Gaming from China.

Naz Aletaha, the Global Head of LoL Esports, expressed excitement about bringing the World Final to the United Kingdom.

“Worlds is a global celebration of the best of League of Legends, and London’s rich history and modern metropolis is a perfect backdrop for the biggest stage in our sport.”

Aletaha highlighted the passion and energy displayed by London fans during the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational that was held at London’s Copper Box Arena.

The O2 is the UK’s second highest seating capacity venue and renowned for hosting

legendary artists, including the likes of Adele, Beyoncé, and U2, as well as

major sporting events such as NBA games and ATP tennis season finales.

The League of Legends World Championship is the most significant competitive event of the game, where the best teams from all around the globe battle it out for the coveted title of world champions.

While the grand finale takes center stage in London, details about other dates, cities, and venues for Worlds 2024 are yet to be revealed. Stay tuned to @lolesports and #Worlds2024 for the latest updates.
