When did you start playing Valorant?

The first time I played Valorant was actually the first day it was released in Indonesia in June 2020. My friend, Dede, had followed Valorant since it was in its Beta version and was watching all of the Valorant streamers even from before it launched in Indonesia. At the time, I didn’t know anything about Valorant then but Dede told me that I would like it - I trusted him. So we waited for the official version to be released and when it came out, we immediately downloaded it and played it together.

What attracted you to Valorant?

The agent Raze for sure. Before this, I played Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) before and was very focused on movements and mechanics, which is something that Agent Raze is excellent at.

How long did it take you to become a competitive Valorant players?

Around two years until I went professional. I streamed for two years before going professional. My community team is for fun though, it’s not too serious.

What’s your biggest achievement in Valorant to date?

We won second place at Split 2 in the Valorant Challenge Indonesia last year (2022). That was a huge win but next year hopefully we will be number 1!

What would be the biggest goal for you?

First place in Indonesia and later, in the world hopefully. My first goal is Indonesia because we got second place in last year’s Valorant Challenge and we were so close to getting first place. I hope to try again next year for sure.

Who are your favourite Valorant international streamers and players?

My favourite streamer is Connor “Flights” Dykes but unfortunately he hasn’t been streaming since last year. He quit valorant like a year ago.

My favourite player is jawgemo because I met him at the after party after Champions. When he met me he told me he watched all of my videos, we have a lot in common. He’s my bro!

Is your real life personality different to your streaming personality?

I think it’s similar. Goofy, childish and absurd.

Who are your favourite agents to play?

Raze. Only Raze. Her mechanics and movements are great. She's the most explosive and aggressive agent in my opinion.

How do you train or prepare for a tournament?

I train with my team. I often share my routine with my viewers on my stream. Two weeks (minimally one week) before the tournament you need to detox. This includes fixing your sleeping schedule, being on a strict, good diet - no extra carbs and no sugar. Coffee is okay though! You should also activate your body with light cardio. You can go to my channel to find out other interesting tips which I can’t share here.

What is most important about this preparation?

Two things: discipline and consistency with all team members. Starting from the smallest things, we need to do everything together as this consistency will carry into the game and make us very closely coordinated.

How do you chill after the tournament?

There’s no routine for this one - we just go out for a meal somewhere together.

Valorant in Indonesia - How do you see it in the future?

I like how Riot creates events for Valorant fans. They put so much investment into it, I really think it will have a long future in Indonesia.

Which country in Southeast Asia has the most formidable players?

Of course it’s Indonesia! Some of the best players in the world like Aaron "mindfreak" Leonhart is Indonesian and even Wang "Jinggg" Jing Jie is actually half Indonesian.

Tips for beginners?

Watch a lot of pro-player gameplay videos to understand the game. Small things like pre-aiming, map macros - you can pick up the basics by watching

Advance tips?
