Christopher "Big Chris" is Silver Hatch race track's mechanic. He occasionally commentates and starts races. He lives in Rusty the caravan and looks after the race track and cars. Big Chris has a typically northern catchphrase, "If you bend it, you mend it!" (In the US version, much less mellifluous, is "If you bend it, you fix it!").
Personality[]
Big Chris is portrayed as being very messy and absent-minded, often "loosing" objects directly in his line of sight, and eternally surprised by his own walkie-talkie. Despite his kindness, he is also shown to be strict at times and can often tell off some of the cars and even Flash for causing trouble. While working on the cars, he often practices his karaoke with an out-of-tune version of a song called "Motor Man". He is the son of Big Christine.
He also made a song called the 2009 Official BBC Children In Need Medley as in this music video where he is first seen calling on the phone and he invited all of the cartoon characters from the other universe and had conducted the choirs in the beach scene.

Big Chris wears a blue and white jumpsuit with tools inside of them and dark blue boots he also has two spanners in his hair to display his messiness, he has blue hair and also wears a blue and white cap. He's portrayed as a father-like character to the cars.

- In the UK dub, Big Chris speaks with a Yorkshire accent. In the US dub, he speaks with a Canadian accent.
- In the Tempo Filmes Brazilian Portuguese dub, he is Italian instead of British.
