Ads are crazy, upgrades are stupid expensive if you pay for them. The ads though are getting ridiculously long. I've counted several at over 70 seconds in length. They really want you to pay for the ad free upgrade. Having said that, if you can deal with the ads after EVERY SINGLE LEVEL, then it's an addictive past time. Only good thing about the forced ads are that you can exit to home screen, relaunch the game and essentially skip them. But if you want any bonus or boost you have to watch it.

I hope you like ads. I understand the need for ads in games. I know I can pay to eliminate them. It's faster for me to close and reopen the app after every single level than wait for the ads that only work half the time after every single level. Can't you at least let me get 2 runs in??? This is a great offline game, though. Loved playing it in airplane mode during a flight. Really the only way to play this game and make it usable.

Edited to 3 stars (from 1). Better than last time I played, but progression is hindered behind a pay wall still. And not a cheap one. $50+ for a golden army guy is crazy. Battle pass rewards (free, unless you want to spend $12 or so every battle pass) are insignificant. 3 gems for the second to last tier, doesn't seem worth it. Was fun for a couple weeks. Paid to remove ads ($5 or so, worth it imo) but just can't really progress unless you buy these overpriced characters.
