About a week in now, and I'm pretty disappointed. At first I thought it felt pretty original, but I now see they've done some cute tricks to dress up another mundane gacha. It relies heavily on cheap tricks like an energy cap on progress (what the gold coins really are) and severe progress walls to stretch content in the absence of quality. I will say, they do have great character designs. Too bad the character I want to build is inaccessible for an unknown period of time. Also very crashy.

I really like the art style and so far it has a lot of aspects that make a good game. Update (June 6, 2024): I am now level 85 in this game, and I can say that I love it! The developers are very responsive to problems that pop up and the support is very kind. The game goes get a bit slow later on because of soft lock caps where the main storyline requires you to be at a certain level but getting experience to level up becomes stagnant, but overall it is a lot of fun!

Absolutely phenomenal. The best mobile game of the type imo. It's got just enough to be engaging without overwhelming, and you can actually level up and progress easily without spending real money, unless you're highly impatient. Really the things you buy are just cosmetic or to quicken the pace, and are well priced, variable, and worthwhile. The skins are great, the characters are fun, the story is adorable, the team is thoughtful and responsive. Really what more do you need?
