Dead by Daylight comes to Hawkins, Indiana as Behaviour Interactive announces its next horror collaboration will be with Netflix's Stranger Things. A new Demogorgon killer will be added to the game, along with two survivors: Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where one player controls a “killer” and up to four players control “survivors.” The point of the game depends on which side of the struggle you end up playing. If you’re a survivor, the point is to escape an enclosed area. If you’re a killer, well, hopefully the goal is self-explanatory (you have to kill all the survivors).

The survivors and killers all have different abilities depending on which character you choose. The killers are usually more powerful, so survivors will need to survive using environmental traps, cunning, and teamwork.

Dead by Daylight started with a group of original killers but have recently added some famous horror movie faces like Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface, and now the Demogorgon. Similarly, Dead by Daylight also added famous survivors from horror movies like Laurie Strode and Ash Williams.

The Stranger Things collaboration is the latest famous horror franchise joining Dead by Daylight. Based on the setting and characters, it looks like the Stranger Things collaboration is set during the first season of Netflix’s Stranger Things.

Netflix recently wrapped up the third season of Stranger Things, but a fourth season has already been confirmed. Read our Stranger Things season 3 recaps here.
