    Athens is a city with an ancient past, but a pressing need to look to the future. To ensure that the city can continue to excite and enchant a new generation of visitors while giving local young Athenians a stake in the city’s future, a bold new approach was needed. With a stellar team working with Athens Development and Destination Management Agency, International Connector designed and led a think tank at the Travel Trade Athens 2014, as well as an online think tank with millennials…

    Athens is a city with an ancient past, but a pressing need to look to the future. To ensure that the city can continue to excite and enchant a new generation of visitors while giving local young Athenians a stake in the city’s future, a bold new approach was needed. With a stellar team working with Athens Development and Destination Management Agency, International Connector designed and led a think tank at the Travel Trade Athens 2014, as well as an online think tank with millennials worldwide. The results were outstanding and will be published soon.

    Your Big Year is a global competition based on social entrepreneurship and global citizenship. In its third run and a feature event of Global Entrepreneurship Week and San Francisco Innovation Month, YBY saw over 60,000 contestants from over 200 countries/territories sign up. Over 6 months time we whittled the competition down to 12 Champions from 10 different countries.
