We’re going to be completely honest here.
Wordpress is amazing. It’s very easy to install and once you installed the Divi theme you’ll be building websites in no-time.
That being said. Some people want to try something new, and that’s totally cool! Perhaps you’re building this website for a friend or a client and he doesn’t want it to be in Wordpress. That’s fine!
