Is Microsoft Fabric the Way to go?
Azure Synapse is the Data Warehouse solution from Microsoft in the Azure cloud — however, it has had internal competition from Databricks for some time, and since last year also from Microsoft Fabrics.
Microsoft Synapse and Databricks are well-known solutions for building up a Data Warehouse or Data Lakehouse, Microsoft offers both solutions in their Azure Cloud. Since last year Microsoft presented Fabrics which competes with both but also is integrated with them. While Databricks is a more stand alone solution I want more to focus on the question is Fabric the feature of Synapse in this article.
Users and companies may now ask themselves the what service to choose.
