Marvel Snap Update Schedule – June 25, 2024 Patch and June 27, 2024 OTA Balance Updates

The next Marvel Snap patch update, originally scheduled for July 2, 2024 (four weeks after the previous one), is now slated for June 25, 2024 due to the Independence Day holiday in the United States on July 4th. The OTA Balance Updates are still happening on June 27, 2024. We have the full scoop about the upcoming patch below! Keep in mind that the release of Series 5 card Phastos and the Spotlight Cache rotation should still happen a few hours after the patch.

Patch and OTA Balance Update Schedule

Usually, the Marvel Snap patches are on a four-weekly cycle and the next patch was expected on July 2, 2024 , and the OTA Balance updates generally every two weeks. However, Second Dinner confirmed the changed schedule on the Discord:

Just a heads up for everyone that we’ve got a patch going out tomorrow. While not our normal cadence, this is due to the fact that all of us at Second Dinner will be out next week celebrating the (US) July 4th holiday.

To set expectations, this patch is setting the table for next season, Deadpool’s Diner, Alliances, and more.

Expected Patch Content

The next two features that can be expected for Marvel Snap throughout the Deadpool & Wolverine July 2024 Season has already been announced via the Development Roadmap:

Deadpool’s Diner

Deadpool’s Diner is an in-game event that runs throughout July (exact date unknown, likely with start of new Season) where players play games to win Bubs and redeem them for rewards. Here, players can earn the new Series 5 card Cassandra Nova!

The Spotlight Cache on July 30, 2024 will also be changing to another card that is already released.

Alliances

Alliances (clans) are due for release on July 30, 2024. It will be a social hub for up to 30 people including the owner, and we expect to organize something revolving around this as well! There are rewards and leaderboards associated with this, so it will be interesting to see how it goes.
