WordPress Hosting Money-Back Guarantee

At Kinsta, if you cancel your plan within 30 days after activating it, Kinsta will refund the fees of any Managed WordPress Hosting plan (the “Money-Back Guarantee”), subject to the following conditions:

  • The Money-Back Guarantee is only available to first-time customers.
  • You can upgrade or downgrade your hosting plan during the initial 30-day period. However, the Money-Back Guarantee period does not start over each time you switch plans.
  • Dedicated server fees are not included in the Money-Back Guarantee.
  • One-time fees are not included in the Money-Back Guarantee. An example of a one-time fee is an infrastructure upgrade to handle a large-scale traffic event.
  • Overages are not included in the Money-Back Guarantee.

Any fees incurred during the first 30 days will be deducted from the Money Back Guarantee refund. If the fees incurred exceed the value of our Money Back Guarantee refund amount, you are responsible for the remaining amount.

After the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee Period

Credits

If you cancel any add-on after the first 30 days, you will receive a prorated credit for the add-on fees to your Account Balance for the remaining days of the current billing period. For example, if you have a monthly plan with an add-on and your current billing period starts on May 1st, then you cancel the add-on on May 15th, you’ll receive a credit on your Account Balance for the canceled add-on for the remaining 16 days.

Any credits are automatically used to offset money owed to Kinsta on your next or final invoice. Credits have no intrinsic or cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and are non-refundable.

Plan Cancellation

Company owners may schedule a cancellation of your plan at any time, which will take effect at the end of your then-current billing period. After this date, the plan is not renewed, all data and services are terminated, and therefore the plan is canceled.

If any fees are unpaid at the time of cancellation, we will issue a final invoice, and you will be responsible for these fees, subject to any credits.

The company owner can cancel the WordPress plan from within MyKinsta under the username > Company Settings > My Plan > Cancel plan. For more information, refer to Cancel WordPress Plan.
