Experience: 2-4 years.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team in the event industry. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully driving sales and building strong relationships with clients in the events sector. As a Sales Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services to existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.
New Business Development: Research and identify potential clients within the event industry, including corporations, event planners, and organizations.
Prospect and generate new leads through networking, cold calls, and other relevant methods.
Conduct thorough needs assessments for potential clients to understand their requirements and propose appropriate event solutions.
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of our event services.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements in collaboration with the management team.
Market Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments.
Analyse market data to identify potential growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and client satisfaction.
Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities, pipeline, and progress towards targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience in the event industry or related field.
Exposure in conducting Demo both for US & APAC clients.
Strong network of contacts within the event industry is a significant advantage.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong sense of initiative.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed to attend industry events, client meetings, and conferences.
