The Apple Vision Pro is the company's latest entry into a new hardware category, bringing users to a new dimension to work, collaborate, and relax. The Vision Pro is a mixed-reality headset designed to bring everything right in front of the users. The starting price for the spatial computing device has been set as $3,499, which converts to approximately INR 3,00,000.
Apple has not revealed the pricing or availability details for Vision Pro in India. However, considering the trend, Vision Pro may launch for a price of INR 3.5 lakhs in India.
Apple has announced new 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 Chip, up to 18 hours of battery life, a fanless design and a liquid retina display. The 15-inch MacBook Air with M2 will be available in Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Space Grey colors.
Apple has set the starting price of the new laptop at INR 1,34,900 and INR 1,24,900 for students and teachers. Interested buyers can order the device today (June 6, 2023), and the device will arrive in the store on June 13.
The Mac Studio now supports new chips, the M2 Max and the M2 Ultra. According to Apple, these chips make the device 50% faster than the previous gen devices and 4x faster than the Intel-Based 27-inch iMac.
The price of the new Mac Studio starts at INR 2,09,900 and INR 1,88,900 for students and teachers. It is available for order today (June 6, 2023) and will be available to customers from June 13.
The Mac Pro comes with Apple's fastest chip, M2 Ultra and support for PCle expansions. Apple claims that the M2 Ultra makes the device 3X faster than the previous gen model. The Mac Pro is available in both tower and rack-mounted enclosures.
Pricing of the tower enclosure starts at INR 7,29,900 and INR 6,87,900 for education, and the price for rack enclosure starts at INR 7,29,900 and INR 6,87,900 for education. The device will be available in stores from June 13.
The M2 Ultra is the latest System on a Chip (SoC) announced by Apple. It is the largest Apple chip ever, based on 2nd-gen 5-nanometer manufacturing process. Apple has used Ultrafusion technology to connect two M2 Max chips together to create the M2 Ultra.
It features 50% more unified memory with twice the bandwidth than the M1 Ultra. Apple claims that the CPU is 20% faster, GPU is 30% faster, and Neural Engine is 40% faster.
On the software side, tvOS 17 arrives with a new control centre, FaceTime and other capabilities. macOS Sonoma comes with gaming upgrades, interactive widgets, better video conferencing and more. WatchOS 10 has a new design language and navigation with other features. iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 arrive with more personalisation options, NameDrop and more for the users.
